Mount Hutton is a suburb situated 14 kilometres south of Newcastle’s central business district. It is part of the City of Lake Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia 2290 and sits on the eastern side of Lake Macquarie. In 1916 the area was known only as Warners Bay Road, Charlestown until it was renamed Mount Hutton around 1916 after a Dr Hutton who lived in the area.
